Send a single gallery notification email and text message
In certain situations, you may need to send a gallery notification email or text message to a single gallery rather than the entire folder; perhaps you added a missing student or you just received their parents' email or phone number after the initial notification was sent.
Send a single gallery notification email
- Click Galleries at the top of your SimplePhoto Dashboard. Alternatively, you can click Manage Existing Galleries under the Galleries pane from the Dashboard.
- Click Folder Control Panel next to the applicable folder that contains the desired prepay event or gallery.
- Navigate to the gallery for which you would like to send a single email gallery notification. Click Gallery Control Panel.
- Scroll down and click Email Customers.
- If you need to import the email address for this gallery, click the green Import Addresses link. You can learn more about importing and managing contacts for a single gallery by visiting our help file here.
- Under "Send Bulk Email", use the Select Template drop-down to choose the email template you wish to send. To add a new email template, see our help file here.
- You have the option to filter email addresses within the specific gallery, in case you need to send the email to specific contacts. Click the green Show Email Address filters link to see all filter options. You can also simply use the checkboxes next to each email, then click Filter Selected Email Address to remove them from the recipient list for this email.
- Once you have the desired emails listed and selected the correct email template, click the Continue button at the top of the screen.
- From this screen, you can preview the email and view the recipient list to verify all information is correct. If it's correct, click Send Emails. Otherwise, you can click Back to Edit Bulk Email.
Send a single gallery notification SMS/text
- First, you'll need to make sure this setting is enabled for your account. Under the Marketing pane from your Dashboard, click Text Message Notification Settings.
- Check “On” next to Show text message notification form in Gallery Control Panel.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click on the Galleries tab at the top of the window.
- Navigate to the gallery you for which you would like to send a single text message gallery notification. Click Gallery Control Panel.
- Scroll down and click Manage SMS Notifications.
- Type in the desired mobile phone number to whom the gallery notification will be sent in the box located under the Send Single Text Message Gallery Notification.
